The High Judicial Council has forwarded today to the President of the Republic the proposal for appointment to the High Court for four vacant positions in the field of criminal law, announced by decisions number 241, 242, 243 and 244, dated 09.07.2020.
In the promotion procedures in the High Court, for the four vacant positions in the field of criminal law, within the candidacy period, a total of eight candidates ran.

Subsequently, the Council decided to start the second phase of promotion, the selection procedure for appointment to the High Court, appointing the relevant rapporteur, after the draw. During this phase, one of the candidates withdrew from the candidacy and the Council decided to terminate the promotion procedures in the High Court for this candidate.
